Ros-bot was launched on Thursday, May 8 2014

Within one year, ros-bot has evolved a lot, moving online a bit more everyday.
Here follows a quick history of the main features we've been adding to the bot.

Top 3 Main users suggestions implemented (keep using the suggestions system, because we keep taking your ideas into consideration):

  • Avoidance
  • Pickits, implented as community sharable custom pickits
  • Minimap markers tracking (that one is from ComMan... thus not really from a user)
  • Loot cache after a bounty is complete

Top 3 suggestions by the devs team:

  • Community shared custom scripts
  • Loot archive, aka as Bot activity
  • Ubers keys and realms

We hope you appreciated these features.

Community grew up (check the number of drops on our main page), so that we wecently created an advanced users group to shortcut the distance between you and us. We have no plans to stop in 2015, and will keep implementing new features, improve old ones and focus on online sharable features (*).

Many of you reported that they couldn't send us beers and pizzas neither through PayPal nor BitCoins so that we're trying to get structured to receive support through other platforms. In the meanwhile, we plan to modify the bot and open a drops database in order for users to get statistics about items drops (where, when, what?)

Massively appreciate you providing a great, reliable, and free software.  I'll be sure to donate when I'm in a better place financially.  The fact that this is easier to use and generally works better than the #1 pay for bot is saying a lot, great work!
