Hello, somebody have same problem after today's patch?

Bot not even opening, before updating patch was all ok.
I deleted bot, and unpacked new but same problem...

There was no patch today.
Your issue might lie in Windows Defender blocking Rosbot.exe
Check recent threats and allow Rosbot if that's the case.
Also, don't forget to set an exclusion for Rosbot folder.

I have the same issue, reinstall and reset ROS Bot Settings is not working. 


It also is not showing up on the Blocked Threats and the folder is allowed in windows defender.

After Unstalling the .NET Update KB4486153 from my Windows which was installed tonight the bot runs fine Again.

I was updating my 2nd computer for the upcoming season and had the same issue.  Everything was running perfectly like a month ago before I quit d3 but after some window updates it stopped working today.

I'll try removing the .NET update since that was one of my guesses.  Usually when I double click on RB, the connecting to window popup then UI but nothing happening now.

look into the logs of your antivirus ... Windows Defender and other antivirus solutions mark the bot as trojan, even if you have set exceptions to the rosbot folder. You manually have to put rosbot on a whitelist. And in case of windows defender: you have to do this after each update of defender

ty  it was my windows defender,   it did work for a bit then stoped   checked windows defender like u said.  it worked   needed to allow it again.  TY

About the Windows Updates: Just ran all updates available and RB opens up fine.
Windows Defender - Cloud based protection turned off. If that had the undesired effect?

Im new to rb. Just wondering what is the average turnaround (timewise) for a new version after patch? I understand this depends on the patch itself, but some rough average (day or two, week or two, etc).

I'm having the same issue, have been running this bot for quite a long time now.  This is brand new.  It'll show up in task manager when I try to start it, then it disappears.  I'm guessing it's a windows update, nothing else has changed on my PC.  I've always had the same Windows defender and it's never given me an issue.  There has to be a reason why a few of us all of a sudden have this issue & have never had it before.  We didn't all install Windows Defender this month.

you got nearly daily updates for your Defender or other Antivirus solutions (database updates) and if there is a false positive (that might appear) then you have the problem that you manually have to set actions to allow the bot again ... so make the correct settings to your antivirus solution (and in case of windows defender: live with it at the moment that you have to reset your actions quite often) and good is

same here, it will run fine one day, ill stop it to do some stuff then go to start it again and the program wont open... it shows up in task manager then goes away, no error, the program just does not open. I will run the .exe as admin, get the spinning wheel for loading, then nothing. i dont run any extra anti virus programs and my windows defender and firewalls are turned off. i have tried deleting the file in my documents and everything with the .exe and extracted new ones.

even if you turned off your defender, it will block rosbot. so go to history of defender and manually allow rosbot

Same here, it will get to the start then return to the window screen with an error and stop working.

I has been like this since the update.

Smart to not specify what error. Make your own report instead of necroing older, vaguely related threads.
