So what about to not stop bot if account password not set? Can in i still play bugged 1.1a? Couse i'd better play bugged version then enter password anywhere exept diablo log in screen.
I respect your work with ros.bot but my paranoya won't let me do dangerous things
I still get the access is denied error, even though my Diablo3 install directory is in C:\Programs Files(x86), not a user directory. Any other thoughts on what it could be?
For the love of God i tried everything possible and the bot doesnt create new user name.Edited registry with user name both (one that is in system ,the second the user name already in c)nothing worked, deleted everything and istalled rosbot again(not in the game folder).Nothing works windows 10.I give up.
I tried almost anything. Bot created random user, but bot don't start Diablo 3. The console windows don't close at all (i have windows 7). i Tried to launch manually the game with the limited account but still the bot won't start...
Is THUD supposed to be run by the same fake user as D3 is if we follow those steps? I ask because it shows mine as being run by my main user and not the same fake user running D3.
Maybe i'm the only one having this issue? Haven't seen anyone else post it yet, or a fix but maybe i'm just missing it:
I had this issue last time, where after I created a new user, I was not able to launch D3. Right now when I attempt to run the RoS bot, it launches D3, I get to the splash screen, then it closes [This isn't the start of the issue, just giving you where it starts.] So, on the OP page, I've tried to do "Diablo III Doesn't Launch." but I can't, as I don't have a Diablo III documents folder with the New User that the bot created.
I also don't have the "unblock" thing stated in "the game is stuck at the splash screen" So, I tried out what @ComMan said, by Shift + Right clicking the game execuatble, and then Run as other user. I put in the passwords, and this is where I run into this issue: http://puu.sh/nlbj4/963a2c08ac.jpg
It says that the battle.Net Desktop Application can't launch Agent / AgentSwitcher. I've disabled the Anti Virus, ran as admin, done what ever, but I can't get it to work.
What do you suggest I try? Thank you for trying to help me.
I didn't test with THUD but it works for me with D3H so it might be a THUD thing
What you can do is restrict access of the randomly generated user to THUD's folder
The how to is in the OP if you're wondering how :)
Support in the Bot Support section only. No support in PMs.
Maybe they'll notice it then, haha. Should I create my own support thread for it, or should I just leave it here? I'm new to these forums, so don't really know what to do!
One of the moderators on THud forum posted a similar workaround to hiding the THud process from Warden.
I'm assuming it's the same way as Edik's, except Edik does it through command prompt vs GUI. The workaround essentially limits access to Diablo3, hence with the assumption it will limit Warden's access to the processes Diablo3 is denied to also. Not sure if it'll really work but it's worth a try.
The console windows don't close at all (i have windows 7
Do you mean by that, that you can see cmd.exe in the task manager AND cannot kill it (getting an "Access Denied" error when trying to kill it?)
We've seen this behavior tonight and have 0 clue what's goign on (it's impossible to close the cmd, whatever user we tried to use - admin or limited)
If you're running into this, run the game as the limited user, start the bot, and you should be able to bot
Please fill a separate report issue showing your limited user in the computer management tool, its associated credentials in globalsettings file, and the task manager showing processes being run by this limited user. Also provide a screenshot of what happens when you try to kill processes run by this limited user
Hi
Any1 can help me ?
When i Start bot he open game but want to log-in on US serwer no EU where i play, how to change that ?
And how to make a bot to put username for you and password?
Maybe, i found that reason for that (Unsafe Native Method) shit ;)
Tried all the fixes... Registry etc... nothing helps.
At least, i tried to create a new local user by myself. Humm... and then... Reboot...
Error : Cant read Userprofile. So... on my Comp i have only the Solution, to create a Microsoftaccount for new User. That doesnt work with Ros-Bot. Local User is not possible.
Maybe, its something broken at upgrading WIN10 from other Versions, so we are not able to create Local Users, only Microsoftaccount Users.
Workfix: Maybe... "Clean Install of Win10" (I hope!)
Same problem as Orphan8x here: Diablo doesn't launch, and I'm stuck with the "C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe" window, cannot close it. I have to go through task manager to kill it (it's named as "conhost.exe", but I can't kill "cmd.exe" and "Diablo3.exe*32" launched by NEWUSERMADEBYROSBOT).
What I don't undersand is that when I first launched 2.01 yesterday it worked PERFECTLY. Today I have the problem I mention above, even after rebooting, restauring system... I can't start the game as NEWUSERMADEBYROSBOT, Windows says that user name or password are incorrect. When I check the "security" tab in Diablo III folder properties, NEWUSERMADEBYROSBOT is not available among other users. It appears in C:\Users though...
I guess I'll stick with 1.1a for now, even if I don't like the injection way...
for me ros-bot is just stuck on the extracting scene files message. win 7 - reg has the 2 strings+tried deleteing ros-bot folder in my documents + tried deleting ros-bot and unzipping again on multiple drives\folders + reinstalled diablo on default location (program files x86) and probably tried many other things mentioned here.
the bot creates a clone with a different name but doesnt create a seprate user to run it on (it just runs as the clone name but as my default user).
any way to pass this extract scene files step ?
I was answering to notnormal
In regards to your issue, I have seen once a case where rebooting + relaunching the bot would allow scenes extraction.
Make also sure that you're not launching the game from within the game folder
having trouble installing ros-bot. the problem is when i open ros bot it will close battle net window and then it will run reaper of souls. got no idea what's going on.
@ sputmnbutmn
Read the OP in this thread. Read the 2.01 release notes. Literally this whole thread is about how Ros-Bot now creates a new user account and runs D3 from that account. Just put in the tiniest bit of effort before you post...
theres soo many error with 2.01, followed all the step still cant get the game to load. and stupid pop up cmd exe on my computer never closed, I'll just go ahead back to 1.1a for now and wait until next update. hopefully next update will not be as confusing as this one, not to mention dont work for some user as well.
We've experienced something really weird tonight
We team viewed to some computer, where the bot had been working first, but was not working anymore:
the bot was still able to start
quickly after the bot started, the cmd showed up (which is not normal)
Avast started to deep scan ros-bot (it seems it's actually closing it... to restart it a bit later)
By relaunching ros-bot, we had a "License already in use error"
Cmd launched by ros-bot was unkillable
We finally uploaded another ros-bot to the computer, and prior launch, we added its folder as an exception to Avast.
It ended up working as intended.
So that if you have Avast, or any other antivirus, it is interesting to reboot, add an antivirus exception to the folder containing the bot prior trying to launch it
Ive underlined the problems Im having with an explanation..Im not the most tech savvy but I love this bot and really want it up and running again, please help. After the update, when I go to launch RoS-Bot, it indefinatley says that it is initializing but it never starts. That is with Diablo closed. If I open Diablo and start the bot, it closes Diablo and does nothing. Please be specific as possible, I started the bot one time after the update and it ran fine. Hasnt worked since I last closed it.
EDIT: I have found the user/pass in RoS-Bot file and they are written down, I have found out how to enable "run as different user" on Windows 8. Now my question is, why does absolutely nothing happen when I open Diablo with run as administrator or run as new user? What exactly was the fix here?
2nd EDIT: I got the system to ask me for a username and password with run as different user, i put in the user/pass copied from the RoSBoTGlobalSettings and all it did was open up battle.net but my orginal problem is all that is happening still, still not sure what this was supposed to correct in the "Diablo 3 doesnt launch" fix. Maybe my not launching issue is a seperate problem? Still working on it. Ill continue to update with edits.
Diablo III doesn't launch
Open RosBotGlobalSettings.ini in C:\Users\USER\Documents\RoS-BoT and write down the values of LocalD3User & LocalD3UserPass.<--I dont see user/pass located anywhere in the RoS-BoT file
Once it's done, go back to the desktop and shift right-click Diablo 3's shortcut and selectRun as different user. <--- Shift right clicking D3s shortcut doesnt give this option.
Enter the User & Password of the ini file.
Alternatively, write down the same user as above and head to C:\Users\ORIGINALUSER\Documents\Diablo III and copy D3Prefs.txt
Then head to C:\Users\RANDOMROSBOTUSER\Documents\Diablo III and paste the D3Prefs.txt <--call me stupid..but im not sure what to do with this.
I cant even get it to start Windows 7 2.01 I get a weird error.

I have a question, what about when the bot thinks there are no keybinds, but you have keybinds set? I have everything set to a letter and it doesn't recognize it, and boots me off.
I'm getting the following error once the bot tries to Initialize. This error pops up, then it gets stuck in the Initializing loop until I kill the process.

@せいじつ
You have UAC off. You did it from Control Panel > User Accounts > Change User Account Control settings. You need have it at least one tick from bottom. In fact under limited user agent asks to get elevated rights by asking for admin credentials. Because UAC is of agent can't do it.
@Jealouseel and
Or he can change shortcut and add inside runas /savecred /user:AZERTY123456 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo III\Diablo III.exe" -launch
It will ask for password only once and next time it will run without asking and under user AZERTY123456
As I reading thru answers and problems in this thread. People whos using Microsoft Account instead local account (windows 8 and up). Should have many issues with ros-bot, local accounts are pretty burden from them in Accounts > Family & other users > Add someone else to this PC > must click on tiny text The person I want to add doesn't have and email address > Add a user without a Microsoft account
W/e Rip Ros-Bot its to funny how u changes some stuff on ur bot and just say everyone is a Computer Genius and can go easy fix that by his own.
I wont buy that bot again really i mean u did the new version and since then i cant start the damn bot, the version befor that one was pretty fine easy to handle and now i have to be a damn Computer Crack to fix that, that really damn sucks.

Check http://www.howtogeek.com/226540/how-to-create-a-new-local-user-account-in-windows-10/
Microsoft simply hijack local account and switch it to microsoft account after 1st use of Micrososft store. If they want rever back from Microsoft Account ot local account should follow this http://www.howtogeek.com/230543/how-to-revert-your-windows-10-account-to-a-local-one-after-the-windows-store-hijacks-it/
