Hi

This is a very first and basic documentation of our not-user-friendly CustomSkill feature. Formating is bad, because ... we are running really short on time now that we went public. The following settings are what you have to fill the GUI with.

Power : quite easy, just select a skill

Usage: this is how the bot uses your skill

* Attack = classical attack skill
* Elite = classical attack skill on elites only
* Buff = classical buff. If not active, it is cast
* BuffAttack = classical buff, used only if there are mobs around
* BuffElite = classical buff, used only if there are elites around
* BuffDensityAroundMe = classical buff, used only if there are more monsters than DensityMinMob within DensityScan yards surrounding you

* BuffLife = classical buff, used only in case you run low on life
(fill the BuffMinimumValue field - value is in percentage, thus from 0 to 100)

* BuffResource = classical buff, only used in case you run low on ressource (fill the BuffMinimumValue field for ressource limit - absolute value (not percentage) and make sure you select Resource type properly - Primary for all class, except demon hunter - discipline = Secondary.)

* Density = skill used on the densest surrounding mob. Monsters taken into account for density calculation are monsters surrounding you within DensityScan yards. Each monster within this DensityScan has an associated DensityRange radius that validates its surrounding monster-friends for calculation.

E.g: DensityScan = 40 yards and DensityRange = 20 yards. Will target the mob located less than 40 yards far from you and surrounded by the highest number of mobs within 20 yards.

DensityMinMob can be used in order to cast the spell only on a specified monsters density per yards square

* Move = skill is used to move if bot tries to move farther than MinimumDistanceFromMoveSkill.
I.e, a demon hunter using vault will use vault to move if it has to move farther than MinimumDistanceFromMoveSkill yards.

* Whirlwind = skill is going to be used like a WW barb skill

DistanceAttack:

For attack skills. Distance in yards in relation to the current targeted mob to start using the attack skill. Each attack skill must fill this. I.e. different attack skills may have different DistanceAttack

Edit: since beta 36, BuffElite and BuffAttack usages use this parameter. This allows to cast buffs at the right position (e.g big bad vodoo)

Resource:
Primary = all skill except from the Demon Hunter discipline skill. In the discipline case, use Secondary

Cost:
Skill resource cost. All resource using skills must have this field filled in.

Priority:

A number indicating which skill to use first (only taken into account for the following Usages: Elite, Attack, WhirlWind and Density).
0 is the highest prority. I.e. the higher the less prioritary

Channelling:

Skill is used maintained. I.e. bot maintains the skill button down.

Timer:

Delay after the skill is used before being used again (milliseconds)

Note: CustomSkill uses a software constant MonsterDistanceScan of 150 yards. Not sure we turn this parameter customisable, since it may have many side effects with some other parameters

Hope this helps a bit. It ain't perfect, but it's a start

I know for the wizard wave of force build there is an option to only cast teleport when there is a minimum number of monsters. Is there an option like this in the custom skills right now? I'm trying to figure out how to set this up with black hole on the wizard.

Anyways thanks for the guide, setting this up for a MM+Conflag wiz. Will report back!

Try the density usage
But it misses the MinimumMonsters parameter. Will teleport even one a single monster

How do I do if I wanna combine elite+density? RIght now im using black hole with density, but whenever im against 1 elite or rift boss it doesn't use black hole. Lots of the predefined builds has skills use with Density but always cast on elites.

looks like all class works well except for monk. trying my best to configure custom skill tab but the left and right click power button not executing, changed values such as distance, prio, channelling etc - still not working. power 1-4 seems to be  working fine.

I'd like to know if everyone's buffattack & elite is getting messed with, because in my custom build meant for a lightning monk build, used to work properly with epiphany and sweeping wind but its not working anymore, the custom build was 34a build.

Will this documentation be updated? (with the new affixes and monsteravoidance settings, etc...)
I think it is a good idea to keep somewhere the custom config description summarized.
Maybe it deserves a place in the "Guides" menu (for the easier access), but it is just one opinion. :)

First, great work. Everything works fine for me,  but I would like to know if there's some way to track skills with charges (for me, dashing strike). My monk spams the skill non-stop whether I have charges or not, which is not a big deal since I'm not here to see it most of the time, but if I can do something about it I would like to. If not, no big deal. Thanks.

I noticed some of the scripts have functions that allow moving to health globes when reaching a certain percentage HP. Taking that string and throwing it into the custom skill script doesn't seem to call that same function. Is there a way to access the same functions as the built in scripts using the custom skill script?
