Looking to run my barb in some higher greater rifts and trying to find the right script and setup for it. Looking for BARB scripts capable of 58+
Leave a link to the script you used as well as information on your setup and paragon level.
60 on HOTA barb, first time 3 weeks ago, ~P400
1) 100% ancient IK items, gloves must be STR/VIT/10CC/45+ CHD
2) ~4300 GoJ w/ ~2200 LpFS (total LpFS ~3400, you need it on belt also)
3) HFA w/ superstition passive, 20% fire, 90+ CHD
4) F&R with max CHD, 45+, 5+ CC each
5) 'GOOD' AR and HP > 700k
6) skills: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#.ZRkjS!ZgXj!.ZcccZ
7) gems: 60+ BoTS, BoTT, TAEGUK (yes, Taeguk)
8) obvious other gear (BotFM, FotA) bracers, shoulders
Basically, you need to spam battle rage (for 60k+ heals and keep Taeguk stacked).
DO NOT try if your gems are low to mid 50's, it won't work.
^^ basically copy/paste from advice I gave another dude...
Why Taeguk? I just cleared 800 paragons but have yet to beat a 60 solo. All my relevent gems are 63-64, gear is ancient with correct stats but although I dont die much, I fail with a couple of mins over on the timer.
I'm not sure if the bot is intuitive enough to push 65+'s.
I've noticed, while it is better than I am at reactionary circumstance (such as moving out of the way of affixes), it doesn't atack the same way I would in certain circumstances, not to mention lags in some spots that causes deaths, where I, as a player, wouldn't die. (Such as standing in environmental items, like goo pools).
I'm not sure if they are working on some of these things in the beta builds, but I feel that there'd need to be a lot more interaction coded into the what ability the scripts have before you can see any significant progress into top-tier GRs.
And that's just my POV. Others on this site may have better insight and tuning skills and have produced higher level GR production.
The latest beta introduces a new avoidance. It's happening slowly on the ones that net the most satisfaction i.e., the bot can react to avoid in time, etc.
I suggest that some scripts may benefit by considering usage of the evade-movement function if the author feels it doesn't take away from the main purpose of their script. With the new changes in the latest beta, this finally is working right.
Creative use of Fastmode will also make a big difference.
